A village has specially been constructed in Tamil Nadu to rehabilitate senior citizens displaced and affected by the 2004 Tsunami disaster. The disaster, that hit the southern region of the country, killed over 14,000 people and left thousands homeless. The neatly constructed houses are a haven for the elder people.
