UP cop murder: Akhilesh orders CBI inquiry

Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav on Monday ordered a Central Bureau of Investigation probe into the murder of a top state police officer, Zia Ul Haq, after severe protests in the state. Haq's wife, Praveen Azad, had declared that she would not bury her husband's body unless the chief minister pays heed to their demand of a CBI inquiry into the case.
