US tea merchants to promote Darjeeling tea

American and Canadian tea importers and retailers have shown keen interest in the tea grown in Darjeeling as they find its taste exotic. A delegation of 10 members comprising of retailers and exporters from America and Canada on a mission to visit the tea gardens and know about the nuances of the tea production are quite impressed with the rich flavor and aroma of the Darjeeling tea. The fine quality of Darjeeling tea is the result of intensive labor.
