Woman Maoist killed in exchange of fire in Orissa

Acting on a tip, police gunned down a woman Maoist cadre during a fierce gun battle in a forest falling under Orissa's Bolangir district on Tuesday.A team of security officials of Special Operation Group (SOG) had launched a search operation. Superintendent of Police Avinash Kumar informed reporters that they had recovered a body of woman Maoist cadre after the encounter.
