External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar expressed confidence about India’s permanent membership of the United Nations Security Council. He said there was a feeling in the world that it should get the position, but the country would have to work harder this time for it. The remarks came amid India's campaign to get UN Security Council's permanent membership.
