Kerala Univ Students Union Gives Gaza-Related Name To Youth Fest; RSS Wing Complains | Intifada

Massive row erupted after the youth festival of University of Kerala was named ‘intifada’ which popularly refers to the violent Palestinian uprising against Israel. RSS’ students wing ABVP complained to the Vice Chancellor and Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan, who is also the Chancellor of the university. The Vice Chancellor has directed removal of the name, saying the festival is not a place for any protest.
