Amid direct war fears, NATO has decided to bring American missiles closer to Russia. NATO will station U.S.-made Patriot anti-air missile systems in Lithuania. The announcement was made by the Baltic country’s defence minister, Arvydas Anusauskas. NATO nation Lithuania shares a border with Russia’s exclave of Kaliningrad and with Russia’s ally Belarus.
