National Conference chief and Lok Sabha MP from Srinagar Farooq Abdullah has accused BJP of spreading hatred ahead of Uttar Pradesh polls. Farooq launched a big attack on BJP, saying the 2019 Balakot airstrikes achieved nothing but the return of the Narendra Modi government at Centre. Farooq cautioned the Modi govt, saying "India will break into pieces if hate continues in the country". The NC chief's sharp attack came during a speech in Jammu, where the National Conference suffered a major jolt after its provincial president Devender Rana quit the party and joined BJP.
