Assam Rifles Rescues Manipur Police Team Caught In Ambush After Cop Shot Dead | Details

Assam Rifles reportedly rescued a Manipur Police team which was ambushed at a border town near Sinam along Imphal-Moreh NH-102 in Tengnoupal district. Three police personnel sustained bullet wounds. The team was sent as reinforcements after a cop was earlier shot down in a separate incident. Police officer Chingtham Anand was shot dead by a sniper in Moreh. Watch for more details.
