'Be vocal for local toys': PM Modi urges people at Toycathon 2021

Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with participants of Toycathon 2021 via video conferencing. Calling on people to be 'vocal for local toys', he said that about 80 per cent of the toys were being imported by India with crores of rupees going abroad. The prime minister added that it was very important to change this situation. He also asserted that India's share is only about 1.5 billion dollars in the global toy market of approximately 100 billion dollars.
