The BJP launched a blistering attack on Congress and its top leadership over the NYT report alleging a well-funded network of spreading ‘Chinese propaganda’ by American billionaire Neville Roy Singham and Newsclick. The BJP accused the Congress of defending US millionaire Neville Roy Singham and media portal NewsClick when they were investigated by law enforcement agencies in 2021. BJP MP Nishikant Dubey also alleged that the Congress is being funded by the Chinese government and added that the leaders of the party were meeting with the Chinese during the clashes in Doklam.
