EU woos India amid Ukraine war; 1st ever body to tackle trade, tech challenges

India & the European Union launched a new body to tackle challenges in trade & technology. The agreement was reached at a meeting between PM Modi and the European Commission chief. India-E.U. Trade & Technology Council will tackle challenges at the nexus of trade, technology. The body will also deepen cooperation between the two sides on trade and technology. This is the 1st time India agreed to set up such a trade & technology council with any of its partners. For the EU it is only the second such body, following the first one set up with the US.
