Visuals of IAS officer Keerthi Jalli visiting flood-hit Assam's Cachar went viral on social media. Netizens have praised the deputy commissioner for reaching out to the affected people. Jalli visited various flood-affected areas under the Borkhola Development block & other parts. In the images, Jalli can be seen walking barefoot through mudded areas wearing a sari. Jalli said they wanted to visit the low-lying areas to assess the practical issues. She added that it would help the administration and govt to make better plans for the future.
