India ready to broker Russia-Ukraine peace? Jaishankar makes key offer s Black sea war escalates

External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar has said India is ready to help bring an end to the Russia-Ukraine war, including through mediation if required. During his visit to Kyiv, Jaishankar discussed the conflict and attacks on commercial shipping in the Black Sea with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha. India has repeatedly called for dialogue and diplomacy, especially after Indian seafarers were killed and injured in recent Black Sea escalations.
