A day after she was accused of disrespecting Prime Minister Narendra Modi by allegedly skipping a meeting on dealing with the aftermath of Cyclone Yaas, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee put forth her side of the story. She claimed that PM's security had kept her waiting for a long time before allowing her to meet him. Banerjee said that she and the state Chief Secretary handed over a report to Modi, and then left for a tour of cyclone-affected areas, after taking the PM's permission. Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankar, BJP president JP Nadda, and some Union ministers had claimed that Mamata skipped the meeting with PM Modi due to petty politics. Watch the full video for more.
