Muslim Body Chief Flags Communal Tensions in Uttarakhand; Wants Shah to Stop Hindu Event

Muslim Body chief has written a letter to Union Home Minister and Uttarakhand CM flagging concerns about communal tensions in the state. This after protests in connection to an alleged 'Love Jihad' case took a violent turn. The Jamiat Ulama-I-Hind's Maulana Mahmood Asad Madani urged Amit Shah and Pushkar Singh Dhami to stop a mahapanchayat being organised in the region on June 15 against 'Love Jihad,' fearing it could escalate the tensions.
