Ram temple: 'Oppn parties misleading people ahead of UP polls': VHP's Alok Kumar

Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has rejected corruption allegations against Ram temple trust in purchase of land in Ayodhya. VHP also warned of defamation suits against those trying to mislead people before UP polls. “We have suggested that the Ram temple trust to file a defamation case. The land deal was a transparent & well-considered agreement. Political parties are trying to politicise the matter but it is related to faith. UP polls are round the corner that is why they're misleading people with lies. Defamation case should be filed against AAP's Sanjay Singh & others,” VHP international working president Alok Kumar said. On Sunday, Samajwadi Party leader Tej Narayan Pandey & AAP's Sanjay Singh accused Ram temple trust of corruption. The leaders also sought a probe by CBI into the alleged corruption in a land deal. Ram temple trust has also refuted corruption allegations & dismissed demands of probe. The temple trust was created by the government after SC’s landmark November 2019 verdict.
