The Beating Retreat ceremony was underway at the Attari-Wagah border on Tuesday. Security personnel conducted the Beating Retreat ceremony on the occasion of Republic Day. This year, India celebrated its 72nd Republic Day with much fervour. India displayed some of its key military assets during the Republic Day parade on Rajpath. In a first, Bangladesh armed forces took part in parade with marching-cum-band contingent.
