India Army uses Israeli Heron drone, mulls new battle model to counter China

With China ramping up military drills and deployments along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in the Arunachal sector, the Indian Army has deployed high-tech platforms to keep an eye on the adversary's movements. Eastern Army Commander Lt Gen Manoj Pande said that Indian forces are using satellites, long-range unmanned aerial vehicles, and surveillance and reconnaissance systems to monitor and match Chinese deployments and activities. He added that the Indian Army's new mountain strike corps is fully operational, and the force is also looking at the integrated battle group (IBG) model to enhance operational efficiency.
