Amid India-China tension in Ladakh, the Indian Navy quickly deployed warships, submarines, and aircraft to keep Beijing in check. These actions were hailed by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh during a visit to the Southern Naval Command in Kochi on June 25. He said that the Indian Ocean region has become a 'conflict hotspot' and India needs to remain on alert. He also referred to the under-construction indigenous aircraft carrier as 'Brahmastra'.
