Opposition MPs on Tuesday staged a walkout from Rajya Sabha after House chairman Venkaiah Naidu refused to revoke the suspension of the 12 MPs who were suspended yesterday for alleged unruly behaviour during previous monsoon session. Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge appealed to the Rajya Sabha chairman to revoke the suspension, saying the action taken against the MPs was against the rules. However the chairman refused to revoke the suspension, accusing the suspended members of disrespecting the house and brazening it out instead of showing remorse.
