On the occasion of the 50th Vijay Diwas, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid homage to the 1971 war bravehearts at the National War Memorial in New Delhi. PM Modi participated in Homage & Reception Ceremony of 'Swarnim Vijay Mashaals'. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was accompanied by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. PM Modi also signed the visitors' book at the National War Memorial. Vijay Diwas is celebrated to mark the creation of Bangladesh following Pak's defeat in the 1971 war.
