Niger allows Mali and Burkina Faso's forces to enter its territory in case of an attack. A joint statement was issued by the countries over the announcement. Mali and Burkina Faso have stated to back Niger in a conflict with ECOWAS. This as the West African Bloc ECOWAS has threatened to send troops into Niger.
