‘Risk of Accident’: Assam Students Struggle to Reach School After Bridge Damage

Students at Kemi-Jelam Middle English School are facing serious difficulties reaching school after a bridge over the Kemi River was damaged on June 28. With the bridge unusable, many students from three nearby villages depend on boats to cross the river. Teachers say boats are not always available on time, while overcrowding increases the risk of accidents.
