Thousands Stranded As Floodwaters Rise Across Northern Vietnam

Heavy rain triggered widespread flooding across northern Vietnam, submerging thousands of homes, cutting off communities and disrupting transportation. Authorities warned of continued rainfall as rivers rose above dangerous levels and floodwaters inundated homes, roads and farmland.
