Trump’s NATO allies step in? Britain and France quietly shape new Hormuz guardian force

As fears of Iran War 2.0 grow again, Britain is quietly moving HMS Dragon toward the Middle East ahead of a possible multinational Hormuz mission. London says the destroyer is being “pre-positioned” to help secure shipping routes if tensions explode again in the Gulf. France has also deployed its carrier strike group toward the Red Sea as both nations reportedly shape a new maritime coalition. Reports claim nearly 40 countries may join the future operation aimed at reopening global trade lanes and clearing mines, even as fragile U.S.-Iran ceasefire talks continue to wobble.
