Security forces launched a search operation after reports of suspicious movement near the Udhampur-Kathua border. Kathua SP Operations Pritpal Singh said such operations are routinely conducted to maintain alertness in the sensitive border region. He said the reported suspicious activity was being taken into account as security personnel carried out the operation.
