Firefighters battled flames engulfing buildings in the Kyiv region after Russian strikes reportedly killed three people, including a child, on Saturday, August 8. Video released by Ukraine’s State Emergency Service showed emergency crews fighting fires and working amid damaged structures following the attacks.
Tymur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv regional administration, said Russian strikes were recorded at three locations in the Boryspil district, near the Ukrainian capital. He said three other people were injured in the attacks.
