India and Brazil have expressed their reservations over China's BRICS expansion plan. According to a Bloomberg report, China wants to include emerging markets in the grouping to establish its political clout as well as to counter the United States. Brazil is against challenging the US through BRICS expansion, while India wants strict rules on how and when other nations could move closer to the group without formally expanding it.
