One of the key allies of the United States in Middle East is set to expel American troops. The Iraqi government is forming a bilateral committee to prepare for ending the mission of the US-led international coalition in Iraq, Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani says in a statement released by his office, Reuters reported. His statement comes one day after a U.S. strike in Baghdad killed a local leader of the Harakat al Nujaba militia amid ongoing attacks on U.S. forces in Iraq and Syria over support to Israel's war on Gaza.
