Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah said that Lord Ram is for everyone and not just for Hindus, while addressing a public rally in Jammu and Kashmir's Akhnoor district. He appealed to the people to remain cautious against attempts made to divide them on the basis of religion. Abdullah's veiled attack on BJP came, a day after he announced that will step down from the top NC party post. It also comes at a time when Jammu and Kashmir prepares for the first polls after the scrapping of Article 370. The elections are expected early next year.
