Houthis have intensified attacks against Israel and the US in the Red Sea amid tensions of a wider war between Iran and the Jewish state over the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh. The Yemen-based rebel spokesperson Yahya Saree on August 7 claimed to have hit two US destroyers, USS Cole and USS Lassen, and an Israel-bound Liberia-flagged container ship.
