Imran Khan’s arrest imminent after bail ends: Pak minister reveals govt's plan

Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan may soon be arrested by security officials deployed outside his Bani Gala residence in Islamabad. Following his ouster through a no-confidence motion, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman has repeatedly called for fresh elections to be announced and led protests against the Shehbaz Sharif-led coalition government. This has angered the current Pak govt. The Interior Minister in Sharif govt Rana Sanaullah said that Imran will be arrested as soon as the protective bail granted by the Peshawar High Court expires. The announcement comes as ex-Pak PM plans more protests. The three-week transit bail granted to Khan will end on 23rd of June. All eyes are now on Shehbaz Sharif govt's next move. More in this report.
