Iran shows US drone debris, Trump says ‘we were cocked, loaded to retaliate’
Tension between Iran and United States of America seems to be increasing by the day. A day after Iran’s Revolutionary Guard claimed to have shot down a US drone in its airspace, the debris was put on display. Head of the Revolutionary Guard’s aerospace division, General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, claimed that the force had detected another aircraft at the same time, but chose to strike down the unmanned drone. US President Donald Trump meanwhile tweeted that the nation’s forces were ‘cocked and loaded’ to strike, but he called it off at the last moment when he was told that around 150 people would be killed in the retaliation.
