The Israeli Army has admitted that its drone was shot down by a surface-to-air missile over Lebanon skies on Sunday. Hezbollah claimed that it destroyed the Hermes 450 drone and released a video showing the UAV nosediving after a missile attack. Israeli defense forces said that its fighter jets struck the areas in Lebanon from where the missile was launched. The acknowledgement came the same day as IDF announced that one of its soldiers had succumbed to injuries from an April 17 Hezbollah attack on Israeli base near Lebanon border.
