Israel has denied reports that the government is planning the resettlement of displaced Palestinians from the Gaza strip to Congo and other countries. The Times of Israel cited a senior Israeli official as saying that the claims are an illusion. “There are those in Israel who think that there is a willingness on the part of Gazans to emigrate voluntarily. It could be between Congo and Gazans, but Israel is not conducting any talks with any country on this issue,” he said. Meanwhile, NATO nation Germany joined the U.S. and France to lash out at two Israeli ministers who floated the Gazan resettlement plan. Watch for more details.
