As Israel bombs Gaza, Hamas returns fire by targeting Israeli cities of Ashkelon and Tel Aviv. In a statement, Hamas threatened to demolish the Israeli cities if IDF attacks on civilians in Gaza do not stop. Israeli forces said that they fired artillery towards Lebanon after rocket attacks by suspected Hezbollah militants. The death toll in the weekend Hamas attack in Israel has crossed 1000 while over 800 Palestinians have been killed in the ongoing Israeli air strikes in besieged Gaza.
