North Korea has launched two short-range ballistic missiles toward its eastern waters as a counter to joint drills held by U.S, Japan and South Korea. This was the fourth round of missile tests that has been continuing since U.S Vice President Kamala Harris' visit to the region this week. South Korea’s military said that it detected the two North Korean missile launches 18 minutes apart coming from the North’s capital region. Japan’s Defence Ministry said it also spotted the launches.
