In an interview with the Rossiya 1 channel on Sunday, Putin said that he is ready to negotiate, but it is Kyiv and its Western backers who refuse to talk. He also slammed Russia's enemies for "aiming to pull Russia apart". On December 22, Putin said that "our goal is... to end this conflict.
