Sidomejo, an Indonesian man claims to be the oldest person in the world. According to his identity card, Sidomejo was born on December 31st, 1870 which makes him 146 years old. If this is confirmed, he would beat the current oldest person, a 116-year-old woman from Italy, by a huge gap of 30 years. Sidomejo lives in Java with his grandson, who says he's relatively healthy, other than having blurred vision and hearing loss. He says he's been married to four women and had three children, all of whom have died. However, officials say his identity card is real but that it's impossible to find out if he really is 146.
