Watch | Firefighters rescue dog stuck in icy lake

U.S. firefighters saved the life of a golden retriever who had fallen in icy water through a crack in the frozen surface of Lake Michigan. This was the 1,000th time that the White Lake Fire Authority's alarm had rung in 2016, after a call warning them of the animal in distress. The animal was given advanced care and reunited with its owners.
