Among the small population of ambidextrous people, only a few can use both hands with equal ease. Let alone paint. Toru, a Japanese artist is one of the exceptional few. Toru paints simultaneously with both hands. He paints in 'Sumi-e' or the traditional ink wash technique.Traditional ink wash technique was practised by educated scholarly gentlemen. It is a prestigious Chinese art form.
