Benazir Bhutto's Pakistan People's Party on December 30th appointed her 19-year-old son Bilawal to lead the party. Bilawal is appointed as the Chaiman of the party while his father, Asaf Ali Zardari, is to be the co-chairman. The PPP also declared that the party would take part in the upcoming January elections, as assassinated Bhutto would have wanted.
