Watch | 185 same-sex couples get married in Brazil
185 same sex couples were married at a mass wedding in Rio de Janeiro. An event which was the largest of its kind, witnessed the presence of friends and relatives during the exchange of vows. Brazil legalised same-sex marriage in 2011 and two years later another law was passed to force government offices to recognise the union. Magistrate, Raquel de Olivera said, this recognition of the state is a gurantee and the society needs to respect, tolerate, accept same sex couples.
