Watch: New Zealand kicks off New Year celebrations with fireworks

Auckland, New Zealand is the first major city around the world to ring in the new year. The city celebrated 2015 with fireworks from the famous Sky Tower. New Zealand rings in the new year (at 6 a.m. Eastern Time), and Australia says "Happy New Year" two hours later, with the annual celebration in Sydney Harbour.
