Watch | Pooches gear up for Westminster Kennel Club dog show
Around 2,700 dogs, across nearly 200 breeds, put their best paw forward in New York at the annual Westminster Kennel Club dog show. Labrador retrievers and golden retrievers have the most entries, with 51 and 50 contestants respectively. The bat-eared French bulldog comes in third. After judges select the best of each breed, the top dogs will go to the main event at Madison Square Garden. In its 140th year, the show is the second-longest continuously running sporting event in the United States after the Kentucky Derby.
