Russian National Guard fighters have begun storming the house, where the shooter is said to be still holed up. He fired shots at police officers who were attempting to retrieve the bodies of the victims and threw grenades, TASS reports. The area around the house has been cordoned off.
Russia Today, quoting neighbours, identified the gunman as Igor who is said to have served in the armed conflict with Chechnya. However, there is no official confirmation yet.
