A passenger of Cruise ship Carnival Radiance has shared a video when water started leaking into her cabin. In the TikTok video of the horrifying incident, the interior of the cruise ship can be seen filled with water. Gallons of water can be seen pouring into the hallway. In the video, ship workers are seen to assess the situation.
According to a report by news.com.au, the woman passenger named Amber was staying on the seventh floor of the ship when the incident happened. Amber shared that it took place on the first night of her voyage from Long Beach, California.
Amber explained how she woke up to the sound of water entering her room through the ceiling and described the moment as "terrifying".
As per the report, Carnival Cruise Line informed that the flooding was caused as a result of a burst water line. The unfortunate incident affected an area of the ship which accounts for less than two percent of its staterooms.
Notably, Carnival Radiance, was earlier known as Carnival Victory and got launched in 2000.The cruise ship was refurbished in 2020 with $200 million.
