Police said Woods was driving his Land Rover when he got distracted, hit a truck, and flipped his car. He did not suffer serious injuries, and the other driver was unharmed. However, the crash quickly raised concerns among people close to him.

Tension in their relationship grows after arrest

According to the Daily Mail, Woods and Vanessa Trump argued throughout the weekend after the incident near his home in Jupiter Island, Florida. She had been waiting for him after he was released from jail, and their initial conversation started calmly but soon turned tense.

“She has gone from concern to anger,” a source told the Daily Mail. “She was like ‘let’s solve this together’ and his response was basically ‘yeah yeah yeah, I got it. It’s fine. It’s under control.’ And she’s like ‘it is so obviously not under control.’”

Vanessa was first concerned and wanted to deal with the situation together but Woods dismissed her worries which left her upset.

Why is Vanessa furious?

As per the Daily Mail, much of Trump’s frustration comes from safety concerns, especially since Woods sometimes drives her and her children.

“She is annoyed because he drives her and her kids around sometimes. She just thinks about all the times that she doesn't know whether he was good to drive,” a source said.

“She's a protective mom. And this is not just irresponsible, it's dangerous. She needs some reassurance that this is not happening again. 'Tiger's response is "don't worry, I'm fine". So I don't want to say that they're on the rocks, but she is not going to put up with this. She needs stability and this is not stable.”

The source added, “If he can't fix this, she will 100 per cent walk. She's trying to make that clear without it sounding like an ultimatum, but obviously it kind of is.”

This latest crash adds to a series of past incidents. Woods crashed into a fire hydrant in 2009, was arrested for DUI in 2017 after being found in his car on the roadside and suffered serious injuries in a 2021 crash in California.

Why Tiger Woods doesn't want to hire driver?

It has also came out that Woods is still not ready hire a personal driver because he fears they might leak information about his whereabouts. However, friends have urged him to reconsider.

“He can afford to get a driver who only drives him when he feels like he needs it,” the source told Daily Mail.

“Someone who is always on call but he doesn't have to use the driver if he doesn't want. That's what I'm suggesting to him because he's never going to stop driving altogether. I have faith that he will figure it out.”
