At least 130 Tibetan protesters were arrested here today as they staged anti-China demonstrations.

The police put them into vans as hundreds of Tibetan exiles marched towards the United Nations Office at Pulchowk in the city, eye-witnesses said.
They were shouting slogans such as "Stop blood shed in Tibet" and "Respect human rights and freedom of Tibetan people".
There have been almost daily protests in Kathmandu since Chinese military cracked down on peaceful demonstrators in Tibet on March 10, while they were observing Uprising Day.
Nepal government has deployed hundreds of riot police near Chinese Embassy at Baluwatar, Chinese Consulate's office at Hattisar to prevent anti-China demonstrations. The Tibetans took out demonstrations near the UN building sneaking the riot policemen.
